7C MATH - Students corrected their practice tests with me in class and were asked to bring them home for studying tonight and tomorrow night.  We will be having an Integers Test on Wednesday.
8C SCIENCE - Students corrected their worksheets on Characteristics of Life and the Cell Theory.  We looked at the composition of plant and animal cells and learned what the various organelles do.  A great website for reference is Cells Alive:  https://www.cellsalive.com/cells/cell_model.htm

TUESDAY
* All Math classes (7A, 7B, 7C) have an Integers Test tomorrow!
We spent class today reviewing for the test, doing some online practice quizzes, and practicing using BEDMAS when solving multi-step integer questions.  All students have a practice test and a review booklet to help them study.

WEDNESDAY
* All students had an integer test today in class.

THURSDAY
8C SCIENCE - Students started working on creating a model "city" that acts like an animal cell.  The nucleus will be like City Hall, etc.  I was very happy to see how engaged everyone was!
7A MATH - Students worked in partners and small groups to correct integer work from yesterday.  We reviewed concepts and reinforced the importance of understanding process and not just the final answers.
