MONDAY
7A MATH - Some students have still not finished their 3D shapes, so they had a bit of time to work on it today.  The rest of class worked on review from our previous units - I have also added Quizlets for all of our first term math strands (check links on this website).

TUESDAY
* Snow Day

WEDNESDAY
8C SCIENCE - Students finished worksheet 3, and we then looked at finding density.  We worked on worksheets 4 and 5 together.
7B MATH - Students reviewed what surface area means and we took a look at our 3D shapes to see if everyone calculated the overall surface area properly.  We then started on worksheet 11.1 and 11.2.

THURSDAY
7C MATH - Today in class we reviewed how to calculate the surface area of rectangular prisms.  We found the area of the front, the top, the right side; added them together, and then multiplied by 2.  Students worked independently on finding surface area and, if they finished early, also worked on calculating the volume of rectangular prisms.

8C SCIENCE - Students worked on buoyancy and density calculations.  We looked at pressure and how pressure differentials can lead to objects being crushed.
