In Science, we learned about food chains, food webs, and the roles of the organisms in them(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd1M9xD482s). TUESDAY In today's class, we reviewed genres and students selected a book for
independent reading. Students should be leaving their books with me at
school. In mathematics, we practiced B E DM AS and the order of
operations. In Health, students looked up information about health
disorders and how they can be caused by food choices or prevented by
healthier choices. WEDNESDAY We identified the genres of our silent reading books and posted introductions to them for our classmates in Edsby. In mathematics, we practiced the order of operations and played a Kahoot (https://create.kahoot.it/share/order-of-operations/df77030c-62d1-4faf-a7e0-b81ba0b4661c) for review at the end of class. THURSDAY Students focused on independent reading journals, reviewing proper sentence structure, and began looking at how to set up paragraphs. In mathematics, we concentrated on reviewing B E DM AS once again (Kahoot is useful for review). In Science, we started looking at food pyramids (numbers and biomass) and how energy decreases as it moves up the pyramid. |
