Whether you are working alone, with a partner, or in a small
group, putting down your thoughts and taking notes is an important part of some classes.

This picture doesn't look very effective though ...
Taking a picture of a diagram or note is quick and easy, but how many students do you think will refer to this picture later?  Will they treat it as a reference point in their learning?  Will they use it to study for a quiz or test?  If they know they can take a picture at the end of class, will they be involved during class?

Most of my review material and daily sheets we use with partners or in groups are online and can be found on the Uploaded Files page.  They are in PDF format, and with the following apps (or online site) you can access them and highlight, type, speak, or even add pictures of your own!

Take Notes On A Laptop

http://www.pdfescape.com/open/

  2. Save the PDF File you want to your My Documents folder.
  3. Go to http://www.pdfescape.com/open/ and click on Upload PDF to PDFEscape
  4. Upload the PDF file you saved from my site.
  5. Add text, highlight, draw, whatever you need.
  6. When done, click on Save and Download PDF (green arrows pointing down).
  7. MAKE SURE you save this edited PDF to a location you want.
I suggest uploading it to your OneDrive on Office 365.
